Furry Scurry 2018

furry-scurry-logo-vs3Have you heard of the Furry Scurry?  It’s a great event put on by the Denver Dumb Friends League (a non-profit organization) to help them raise funds for lost and homeless pets and horses.  The money raised from donations and registration fees go toward helping re-home pets, provide medical treatment, behavior programs, and foster care.  They also use funds to help prevent animal mistreatment and neglect, teach children about kindness to animals and responsible pet care.

The Furry Scurry is a 2-mile walk at Washington Park in Denver.  It’s on May 5th and the walk officially starts at 9:00 am.   The best part is you can bring your furry friend to walk with you and check out a great group of animal-friendly vendors.

We’re excited to be hosting a team this year at the Furry Scurry and we’d love for you to join us.   Check out our team page here and you can register to walk with us.  We’ll be meeting up as a group at 8:30 on the day of the walk. (register to find out where).  We don’t have to stay as a group but anyone is welcome to walk with us.  We’re excited to see everyone there.  Cheers from the Weigh to Wellness Denver Team and their fur kids!
